She has taught thousands of faculty about teaching online, has critiqued hundreds of online courses, and heads up the advisory board of the Certified Online Instructor (COI), the leading designation for online faculty in higher education.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Julie Coates<\/strong>\u00a0is the\u00a0author of the pioneering book, \u201c<i>Generational Learning Styles\u201d<\/i>\u00a0and co-author of the new book,\u00a0\u201c<i>The Pedagogy of the 21st Century<\/i>.\u201d\u00a0She also teaches faculty about generational learning styles in the University of South Dakota graduate program in adult and higher education.
