{"id":17776,"date":"2013-01-14T20:53:37","date_gmt":"2013-01-14T20:53:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lern.org\/?p=1110"},"modified":"2021-08-02T12:21:18","modified_gmt":"2021-08-02T17:21:18","slug":"association-reports-the-first-blended-course","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lern.com\/lern\/association-reports-the-first-blended-course\/","title":{"rendered":"Association Reports the First Blended Course"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The first association is reporting a planned blended course to start by the end of this year.<a href=\"https:\/\/lern.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/ozzie.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/lern.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/ozzie.jpg\" alt=\"ozzie\" width=\"167\" height=\"250\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nOzzie Logozzo, a LERN member and association executive head of the Ontario Real Estate College in Toronto, Canada, told LERN recently,\u00a0\u201cWe offer courses via correspondence, classroom and online and have done so since 1997.\u00a0 We are currently mapping out a fourth delivery methodology for elite students who can handle blended learning in a virtual classroom.\u00a0 We anticipate that we will be able to pilot this product by year&#8217;s end.&#8221;<br \/>\nA \u201cblended\u201d course, sometimes called hybrid or mixed, is a course that has in-person class meetings, and in between those meetings students get into an online classroom and interact with a variety of online features.\u00a0 Often blended courses involve fewer face-to-face (F2F) class meetings.
