{"id":17960,"date":"2014-12-02T15:19:53","date_gmt":"2014-12-02T15:19:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lern.org\/?p=2185"},"modified":"2021-08-02T12:22:11","modified_gmt":"2021-08-02T17:22:11","slug":"lern-pioneers-conference-quizzes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lern.com\/lern\/lern-pioneers-conference-quizzes\/","title":{"rendered":"LERN pioneers conference quizzes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/lern.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/uizzes1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-2187\" src=\"https:\/\/lern.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/uizzes1-292x300.jpg\" alt=\"uizzes\" width=\"292\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>LERN pioneered yet another association innovation this year by creating session quizzes at our big annual conference.<br \/>\nThe outcomes based quizzes allow attendees and their supervisors to measure conference participation by knowledge acquisition rather than just seats in chairs.<br \/>\nThis will become part of our marketing and benefits for organizations sending people to our conference.<br \/>\nFor a one-hour concurrent session, participants needed to pass a 5 question quiz at the 80% level to receive CEUs or graduate school credit.\u00a0 They could retake the quizzes.<br \/>\nParticipants could take the quiz on their cell phones, or on paper.<br \/>\nSome 69 sessions, or 95% of the sessions, had a quiz.\u00a0 There were 55 people who took one or more quizzes, and the 390 attempts were rewarded with 218 pass scores of 80% or 100%.\u00a0 Six attendees took a quiz for every one of the nine session time slots.<br \/>\nThe quizzes used the International Learning Unit (ILU) standard.\u00a0 For information on how to use quizzes to enhance your conference, email <a href=\"mailto:info@lern.org\">info@lern.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LERN pioneered yet another association innovation this year by creating session quizzes at our big annual conference.
